سعید کدخدایی دکترای خود را در رشته مهندسی ژنتیک در سال 1393 از دانشگاه UPM اخذ نمود و دو دوره پسادکترا در زمینه بیوانفورماتیک و مهندسی ژنوم از طریق فناوری کریسپر به ترتیب در دانشگاه های UPM و صنعتی اصفهان (بنیاد ملی نخبگان) را با موفقیت به اتمام رساند. وی از سال 1381 فعالیت خود را در پژوهشکده بیوتکنولوژی کشاورزی منطقه مرکزی کشور و با همکاری در راه‌اندازی این مجموعه آغاز نمود. زمینه تحقیقاتی مورد علاقه ایشان استفاده از فناوری کریسپر به ویژه کاربرد آن در کیت های تشخیص مولکولی است.

 

- استفاده از فناوری کریسپر در شناسایی سریع ویروس‌های سیب‌زمینی

- استفاده از نشانگرهای مولکولی به منظور شناسایی سریع و دقیق توده های Medicago sativa ایران

- تهیه شناسنامه ژنتیکی بادام ایران
